 What information should I write in my complaint?

When you make a complaint, you should include the following things in your letter.

•  Which police force are you complaining about 

        METROPOLITAN (Lewisham) police

• What problem are you complaining about/ what happened 
  Innocent man beaten as described in above pages,
• When did it happen       

       Friday 15th July 2022

• Where did it happen

        Lewisham

• Who was involved     

       Sergeant Number ...............   

• Witness name         

       RACHELLE HENRY

• What was  done                       

        A petition is online,  and a demonstration was organised on Sat 30th July

• What do you expect the outcome of complaint to be?

       A criminal investigation leading to the officers dismissal from service                 and charged with assault and ABH

The link below is to the IOPC (Independent office for police complaints) Look down the page, it is set already for Met police and Home office.  There is a drop down option for Mayors office for police and crime, and Police and crime commissioners, I suggest sending a letter of complaint to all three offices. to get it noticed.
